I found out today that I got the job I interviewed for last week. Yah! It's a 2 month contract so will take me through until I go away. Nice money too.
Now I have to break it to my current job. Not sure whether to be upfront or just make up some story. I feel it's better to be honest but I don't want to burn any bridges either - more so with my agency than my place of work.

ReplyDeletePeople could feel wronged either way and especially if they smell a rat and they are not one. I'd rather have solid bridges with solid people...even a few than a buncha bridges that could burn down at any moment for reasons I might not know...

ReplyDeleteI would go with honesty. They should understand. And since you would quit in two months anyway... Didn't they hire you as a temp through a temp agency? Then clearly they are used to this kind of thing happening. Good luck!
